Citrics de la Plana S.A.T. (CIPLA) is a company dedicated to the marketing of mandarins for fresh consumption, located in the town of Nules (Castellón), Spain and founded in 1993. CIPLA was founded by a group of friends, citrus producers Nules town, all with the same perception and way of understanding agriculture and whose purpose was to produce a high quality product that was able to best meet the expectations of our consumers and for this we joined forces in order to provide a product in optimal condition for consumption.
In the years of operation, the company has grown in size and evolved but always true to its philosophy: provide a safe, healthy, excellent quality for the consumer and with maximum respect for the environment.
Our Quality System is dynamic and central to the Company, and is evolving and adapting to the needs. Proof of this is that, thanks to this quality system, the clothing store is certified under the Global Food Safety Standards BRC and IFS and all production is entitled under the GLOBALGAP and social practices GRASP module.
Our fruit farms are Nules area, where population is native Queen of the Clementines, the Clementina Nules traditional area of ??citrus and where they grow the best clementines that can be tasted in the world. Thanks to the climatic and soil conditions of the area, we can offer Nules Clementina in perfect condition from mid-October to early February.
Our production is own, the fruit belongs to members of the Company, all processes are carried out by internal staff under technical direction.
Our facilities are sufficiently large, are designed and constructed to ensure safe handling of the product and a high capacity garment. The careful design and location of all components, along with strict adherence Plan Sanitation ensure product handling in excellent hygienic conditions.
We have to plant a balance between modern machinery and traditional equipment and all with a single purpose: to provide consumers with a product in the best condition you can find in the market.
We ensure traceability by tracking any game or finished product that would allow us to detect any incident related to food security.
